The Carleton is conveniently located in downtown Oak Park, walking distance to many shops, restaurants and the Sunday farewell brunch, as well as the 'El' Green Line which goes right into downtown.

Midway and O'Hare airports both service the Chicago area. Travel time from each airport to Oak Park is approximately 30 minutes.

Welcome Party

The welcome party is located in downtown Chicago, 25 minutes from Oak Park. For those staying at the Carleton or near downtown Oak Park. the CTA Green Line's station at Clark/Lake is five blocks away from the restaurant. Otherwise Ubers are suggested as parking is limited downtown.

Wedding

Shuttles will be provided from The Carleton to Fair Oaks Presbyterian before the ceremony, from Fair Oaks Presbyterian to Oak Park Country Club after the ceremony, and from Oak Park Country Club to The Carleton after the reception & after party. The buses will make multiple trips between Oak Park Country Club and The Carelton during the reception and after party to accommodate any guests that would like to leave earlier.

Farewell Brunch

The farewell brunch is located 1 block away from The Carleton.

General Transportation

The Chicago 'El' train system is very reliable and has two lines (green and blue) that service Oak Park and run to downtown Chicago. Ubers/Lyfts are also excellent options for transportation to and from the airport and/or downtown.
